A Surprise Performance for Nickelback

During her regular restaurant residency this week, Clare Cunningham experienced an unforgettable moment of divine timing and humor.

What began as a lighthearted request from local guests to perform Nickelback’s “Photograph” quickly turned into something extraordinary. Moments before Clare began the song, members of Nickelback themselves walked in and sat down for dinner—completely unplanned.

Unaware at first, Clare realized halfway through her performance that she was singing their song directly in front of the band. Frontman Chad Kroeger assumed it was intentional and even came up to tip her. The guest who’d requested the song casually gave Chad a high five—before realizing who he was speaking to.

A longtime fan who once made a poster for their 2012 London concert, Clare called the moment “full-circle, hilarious, and totally God-timed.” To top it off, the band expressed their appreciation for her original Irish music.
