‘Éireann I mo chroí’ is the last single to be released off Clare’s Celtic EP (Dear Ireland)
Clare states :
‘This is definitely the most pivotal track off the EP, only as it was the very first track I wrote about Ireland (and that wasn’t until I first moved to the US in 2018) and it’s always my closing song at every show. I go to a different place when I sing this song and people over the years always tell me it hit their soul.
The recording process was the most magical for this track too. It so happened that the legend himself Steve Cropper was in the building the day I was cutting the vocals and he asked if he could sit in. He did and he liked it that much he ended up co-producing the vocals on it, which is an honor’
The song is track number two on Clare’s Celtic EP - which is available on all digital and streaming platforms and on physical copy available from Clare’s web store.
